Web by WMC Corp Bob DeBenedette (Piano) Bob is a career educator in New Jersey.  He has, in addition to inspiring students for over 30 years as a choral conductor and Jazz Ensemble director, performed with Xavier Cugat, Richard Maltby, Les and Larry Elgart, Connie Francis, the Harry James Orchestra, Marlene Ver Plaank, Michele Hendricks, Julius La Rosa, Annette Sanders, Abbie Lane, the Carrie Jackson Swing All Stars, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, to name a few. He can also be heard with local big bands like the Somers Dream Orchestra and the Dick Meldonian Big Band, as well as others.  Bob coaches young aspiring jazz vocalists with Carrie Jackson at her Jazz Vocalists Workshops in Newark, NJ.     Joe LaBelle (Guitar) Joe is a growing presence in New York jazz circles.  His fresh approach to jazz combines influences from Charlie Parker to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Joe is equally at home in solo and ensemble settings, working with the One More Once Big Band, Conrad Herwig, Wycliffe Gordon, numerous musical theater groups, and quartets.  He has studied with several major jazz players including Vic Juris, Dave Stryker, Steven Benson, and David Bixler.  Joe doubles on mandolin, banjo and ukelele, and, when not playing, is teaching guitar to the next generation of artists. Rick Visone (Drums) A lifelong resident of the New York Metro area and music scene; Rick studied with Mel Lewis and Joe Morello while attending Paterson College.  His early years featured him in the top hotels in the Catskills playing shows for Billy Eckstien, Milton Berle, Don Cornell and The Ink Spots, and others.  Rick has done his share of studio work for names such as Barry Manilow and Rosemary Clooney.  He toured worldwide with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra and throughout the U. S. with the Les and Larry Elgart Orchestra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.  Rick has performed numerous times with the Harry James Orchestra, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and internationally with the Glen Miller Orchestra.  Rick volunteers with local music programs for young performers to bring his love of jazz to the youth of the greater New York City area.   Takashi Otsuka (Bass) A consummate bassist, Takashi also studied composition and arranging with Herb Pomeroy, Bob Freedman and Ken Pullig, and improvisation theory with Gary Burton at Berklee College of Music. Takashi has appeared with various artists including the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Seiji Ozawa, The Boys Choir of Harlem, Ben E. King, Swing Express under the direction of Bill Conway, the Latin Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Victor Rendon, Don Sebesky, Bob Mintzer, Charles McPherson, Marion Meadows, Lew Solof, Ted Curson, Claudio Roditi, Norman Simmons, Vic Juris, John Hart, Bob Devos, Ron Affif, Pete Levin, Virginia Mayhew, Jack Walrath, Billy Hart, Eliot Zigmund and many more.
